Universities Tout Township Students’ Achievements

Franklin township residents are making waves at colleges and universities.

Here’s the latest:

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus, located in Madison, have been named to the Dean’s and Honors Lists for the Fall 2016 semester:

Danah Lassiter, Amy Slobodzian, Gabrielle Kissi, Katlin Gagliardi, Ashley Krushinski, Anthony Casisa and Mark Carr, all of Somerset, and Dylan Coker and Salma Hbaich, both of Franklin Park, have been named to the Honors List. To qualify for the Honor’s List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours.

Emanuel Osano of Somerset, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, has been named to the Honors List for the Fall 2016 semester.

To qualify for the Honor’s List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours.

Andrea Circelli of Somerset, a Wilkes University education major, is completing a student teaching assignment this semester. Student teaching is one of the requirements for earning teacher certification in Pennsylvania. Circelli is student teaching at Lake Lehman district.

Seton Hall University is pleased to announce that the following students qualified for the Fall 2016 Dean’s List. To make Dean’s List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C:

Ibukunoluwa Adedeji, Jasmine Igwegbe, Ryan Lenczewski, Ian Murphy, Sabri Patel, Payal Patel and Nicole Peterkin, all of Somerset, and Cierille Boco of Franklin Park.
