Franklin High School’s Class of 1965 celebrated 50 years since their graduation at a dinner/dance held at the Hotel Somerset, Saturday evening, September 26. Attending the reunion were 60 members of the class and 39 guests.
In his welcoming remarks on Friday, Franklin Township Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Ravally recognized the importance of this milestone for Franklin education. Members of this class were the first to go freshman-to-senior at Franklin (1961-1965) … the first four-year Warriors. Prior to this Franklin high school students were sent to neighboring high schools in Princeton, Bound Brook, Highland Park, and New Brunswick.
