CJCP’s Middle School Model UN team went to the Model United Nations Conference on Thursday through Saturday, March 28 – 30, 2019 to represent the countries of Malaysia and Andorra, and to celebrate international diplomacy.
Congratulations to the Delegations of Malaysia and Andorra at the Global Classroom International 2019 Middle School Model UN Conference! CJCP middle school students competed with over 1,700 students internationally representing both Malaysia and Andorra. “Our delegates were not only getting motions passed, building blocks with allies, negotiating with adversaries, drafting resolutions, but were displaying a high level of integrity and diplomacy as they entered the world stage at the United Nations building.” said the Model UN Club Advisor, Ms. Abdelhamid.
CJCP student delegates won 3 prestigious Honorable Mention Awards for extraordinary diplomatic performance in the following committees:
Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Jay Gurumurthy and Arav Geria
World Health Organization (WHO) Diya Patel and Sanjana Bandi
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Nehal Bajaj and Arushi Parikh
