Quick response by staff at Franklin Middle School May 5 likely saved the life of a 7th grade student who collapsed, interim schools Superintendent Lee Seitz said.

Speaking at the May 7 Board of Education meeting, Seitz said the student – who was not identified – collapsed during his gym class.
