Somerset Patriots To Host Ballpark Comic Con On May 12th

Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots will host their Sixth Annual Ballpark Comic Con at TD Bank Ballpark on Saturday, May 12th presented by the Hugs For Brady Foundation. The event will begin at 4:30 pm and last throughout the double header games scheduled for 6:05 pm.

 

Ballpark Comic Con offers fans and comic books lovers a unique experience combining family fun, baseball, and all things comics.

 

The first 1,000 Fans in attendance will receive a Super Sparkee T-Shirt. Sparkee will be dressed as Super Sparkee during the game and be available at a picture station.

 

Fans are encouraged to dress up as comic characters and participate in costume contests for great prizes. All fans that dress up will receive $2.00 off their tickets to the game at the box office.

 

In celebration of the hit movie Avengers: Infinity War, fans will be able to take pictures with Captain America and Spider-Man from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

 

All Somerset Patriots players and coaches will be wearing Captain America themed jerseys during the first game that will be auctioned off in a tricky tray raffle, with all proceeds benefiting Hugs For Brady. Winners will be able to get their jerseys signed and take pictures with the player that wore it between the two games.

 

Local comic artist Will Torres will be on site and draw exclusive sketch covers for fans in attendance. The first 200 fans will receive a special Ballpark Comic exclusive print from Torres featuring The Avengers.

 

Various vendors and activities will be set up throughout the ballpark for fans to enjoy.

 

Tickets for the event start at $11.50 and include Ballpark Comic Con admission and the Somerset Patriots games against the Lancaster Barnstormers.

 

More activities, vendors, and special guests are still being added for this event.

 

The Hugs for Brady Foundation is dedicated to helping children with childhood cancers. Their moral compass has directed them to support children with cancer in any and every way possible. Recently, Hugs for Brady passed the $1,000,0000 milestone in terms of dollars raised to help kids with cancer.
