Somerset Patriots And Spearhead Staffing Announce 2016 Kid CEO Finalists

kidceo2015newsBridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots, along with program partner Spearhead Staffing, have announced the finalists for the 2016 Kid CEO promotion.

 

Neelesh Thanasegaran of Warren, Nicholas Doll of Linden, Evan Gilmurray of Bridgewater, Skyler Pearsall of Metuchen, and twin brothers Michael and Daniel Shinn of Middlesex have been chosen as finalists for the program.

 

All six kids will have their final interviews down on the field before the Friday, May 13th game at TD Bank Ballpark, where the winner will be hired during the game.

 

Thanasegaran and Pearsall were finalists for the 2015 promotion and once again had strong interviews to be in the running for the 2016 season.

 

Thanasegaran is an 11-year old whose favorite subjects in school are math and science. He enjoys photography, coin collecting, reading and card collecting. His favorite sports are basketball and baseball.

 

Doll is eight years old and enjoys playing sports, especially baseball and basketball. His favorite school subjects are physical education and science. When not playing sports, he roots for his favorite teams- the Somerset Patriots, Rutgers Wrestling, the New York Knicks, the New York Jets, as well as the Seton Hall Pirates Men’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball teams.

 

Gilmurray is an 11-year old who aspires to be an engineer of architecture and hopes to one day attend MIT. His favorite subject is Language Arts/Literacy that has led to his love of reading and writing stories. In his free time, he is part of the Master Chefs Club of 4-H and is playing and watching sports.

 

Pearsall is a 12-year old sixth grader whose favorite subject is Social Studies. She plays field hockey, soccer, basketball, track and field and softball. She is a member of the student council, Spanish club, chorus and band, where she plays the alto sax. She is also a Cadet Girl Scout.

 

Michael Shinn is a sixth-grade student who is also a Boy Scout and plays the snare drum in the school band and sings in the school chorus.  Michael loves everything about the game of baseball, especially its history and statistics.  He enjoys talking baseball with other fans and scoring the games he watches.

 

Daniel Shinn is also a sixth grader.  He is a Boy Scout, plays alto saxophone in the school band and sings in the school chorus.  Daniel likes cars, steam locomotives, and baseball.  Daniel collects and trades all kinds of things, from baseball cards to pens.  Daniel plans to design and build cars and be CEO of his own car company.
