Somerset Patriots Release 2018 Schedule
Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have announced their schedule for the 2018 season, beginning at home on Friday, April 27th against the Road Warriors at 7:05 pm.

The Somerset Patriots’ 2018 season will be highlighted by the 20th Anniversary of TD Bank Ballpark and the 7,000,000th fan in franchise history.
The 126-game Atlantic League schedule will run from Friday, April 27th through Sunday, September 16th with 72 home games and 54 road games.
The Patriots will host 35 weekend games at TD Bank Ballpark. Game times for Monday through Saturday games are set for 7:05 pm, except for weekday games in May and September, which will begin at 6:35 pm. Sunday games are set for 1:05 pm in April, May, June and September, while changing to 5:05 pm in July and August.
The team will host 18 firework nights and will be home for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 17th.
Three day-night double headers are scheduled for the season. On Wednesday, May 9th, the Patriots will take on the Road Warriors at 11:05 am and 6:35 pm. On Wednesday, June 6th, Somerset will host the Sugar Land Skeeters for an 11:05 am and 7:05 pm game. The Patriots will then take on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at 11:05 am and 7:05 on Wednesday, July 25th.
The Patriots will also host a single-admission double header against the Lancaster Barnstormers at 6:05 pm on Saturday, May 12th.
Somerset will host six 11:05 am day games on Wednesday, May 9th, Thursday, May 24th, Wednesday, June 6th, Wednesday, July 25th, Thursday, August 2nd and Wednesday, August 8th.
The ALPB schedule is divided into two 63-game halves, with the first half ending on Thursday, July 5 and the regular season ending on Sunday, September 16. The first half and second half champions in each division will qualify for 2018 Atlantic League playoffs. Should one or both teams win each half in their respective division, a wild card scenario comes into play where the team(s) with the next best overall record, regardless of division, qualifies for the postseason. Both Division Championship Series matchups will take place the week of September 17, 2017 with the Atlantic League Championship Series occurring during the week of September 24.
