Reward Offered For Information On May 18 Killing

A $2,500 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, Inc. for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those involved in the shooting death of a 30-year-old Somerset man.

David D. Anderson of Henry Street died after he was shot multiple times before 11 p.m. May 18 on Matilda Avenue, according to a press release from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

The initial investigation showed that Anderson was shot during a large gathering at Naaman Williams Park, according to the release.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at (908) 231-7100 or the Franklin Township Police Department at (732) 873-5533 or via the STOPit app. The STOPit app allows citizens to provide anonymous reports including videos and photos.
