Public Invited To Raritan Valley Rail Coalition Meeting

The public has been invited to the first 2016 meeting of the Raritan Valley Rail Coalition at 8:30 a.m.  Jan. 25 at 25 Grove St., Somerville.

The meeting is being held in the Somerset County Administration Building in the third-floor freeholders’ meeting room. Parking is available in the adjacent Bernie Field Parking Deck; the entrance is located on East High Street between Grove and Mechanic streets.

RVRC Chairman and Somerset County Freeholder Deputy Director Peter S. Palmer will present highlights from the December 2015 One Seat Ride quarterly meeting with NJ Transit and unveil the coalition’s 2016 one seat ride strategy.

The RVRC trustees also will host the public premiere of the coalition’s video supporting one seat ride.
