The Goddard School in Somerset is always looking to support the families in our school and the people in the community as often as we can. This past Sunday, May 1st we sponsored the Reavey Family in the March of Dimes, March for Babies Walk in Johnson Park. This is the March of Dimes signature fundraising event and the March for Babies supports the mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, prematurity and infant mortality. More than 7 million people participate in March for Babies nationwide and we are proud to say we joined in representing that number.

Mrs. Reavey states, “I am walking in honor of my son Chase, who was born too prematurely to survive on his own. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I’m walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this.”

As part of The Goddard School Family, we walked in honor of the Reavey family’s loss and also had teachers near the pond handing out food to feed the fish. We are excited and proud to have been involved in a great event and for such a great cause.
