Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots will host special nights to recognize the Somerset, Union, Middlesex, and Hunterdon County schools’ Teachers of the Year.
The Patriots have invited Teachers of the Year from each school in the counties to attend a Teacher Appreciation Night at TD Bank Ballpark. The Patriots will recognize the teachers on the field in a pre-game ceremony beginning at approximately 6:40 pm on each county’s respective night.
The first night is scheduled for Tuesday, June 6th when the Patriots will welcome Somerset and Union County Schools’ Teachers of the Year. The Somerset County Teacher Appreciation is part of a long time partnership with the Somerset County Education Association.
On Thursday, June 8th, the Patriots will honor Middlesex and Hunterdon Teachers of the Year. The Patriots and Middlesex County Education Association have partnered for the event once again.
“Our Teacher Appreciation Nights are very special parts of our season. We know how hard teachers work all year and we want to make sure they know that the community appreciates all that they do for our kids,” said Somerset Patriots President/General Manager Patrick McVerry.” These nights are designed as a special thank you to all teachers and to showcase those that received the recognition as their schools’ Teacher of the Year.”
The Patriots are providing tickets to the teachers, their guests, and their classes to come out to the ballpark for these special nights.
The Patriots are encouraging all teachers to come out to the game to support their peers. All teachers that show their school ID badge at the Patriots Ticket Office on game day will receive a $5.00 Upper Box ticket to the Teacher Appreciation Night for their county.
Tickets to the 2017 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford, which includes the team’s 20th Anniversary, are on sale now.
