Elizabeth Michell passed away on April 30 at her home in Somerset. She was 94 years old.
Mrs. Michell was born in New York City and lived in Brooklyn, Jersey City and Edison before moving to Somerset. She was a homemaker and worked for a time as a Mary Kay cosmetic representative. She was a true matriarch and a coffee lover.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Merl in 2000 and her two sons Michael and Douglas Michell. She was also pre-deceased by her sisters Nancy Marynchunk and Estelle Goya and a granddaughter Emily Michell.
Mrs. Michell is survived by her grandchildren Mary, David, Joshua, Jeremy, Lauren, Kathleen, Doug Jr., and Elizabeth.
Visiting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., and a funeral ceremony will take place 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in North Brunswick
