Mr. Edward Mockovak passed away on October 7 at University Penn Medical Center of Princeton in Plainsboro at the age of 74.
Mr. Mockovack was born in Endicott, New York and raised in the Middlebush section of Franklin Township. He attended Franklin Township Public Schools and graduated from Franklin Township High School.
Soon after he graduated from high school, Mr. Mockovack began a lengthy career in the automotive industry. Most notably, he was employed by D’Amico Lincoln/Mercury in sales and worked as a mechanic both before and after his time there. Once retired, Mr. Mockovack was employed part time by South Brunswick Township as a crossing guard.
He was a devoted New York Football Giants fan and a diehard Nascar fan. In his younger days, he frequently participated in drag racing at Raceway Park. He was also an animal lover.
Mr. Mockovack was pre-deceased by his wife Lynn Carson Mockovack.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Voytko, and his daughters, Cheryl Mockovack and Jennifer Ng. Ed was a great Bonus Dad to Vera’s son Jerry Voytko Jr., his wife, Felecia Voytko, and her daughter, Angela Voytko .
Funeral services will be held privately at request of the family.
