A Monroe man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being involved in a three-vehicle crash on South Middlebush Road on Feb. 16. South Middlebush Road was closed for about four hours during the investigation.

A 26-year-old New Brunswick man escaped serious injury Feb. 15 after he was shot several times in his hands and torso on Ambrose Street, authorities said. Township police and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating the person who shot the unidentified man.

Update: William Shaw has been charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving and two counts of having open containers of alcohol within a motor vehicle, according to township police. Three township residents – one a juvenile – were arrested Feb. 2 after a loaded handgun was found in a car they were driving in Manville. Rashiene Rochester and Malcolm Allen, both 22, and a juvenile were arrested in the Marketplace at Manville shopping center, according to a release on the incident from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

Two men – one a township resident – were charged Feb. 1 in connection with the robbery of a woman outside of Office Depot, in Rutgers Plaza on Easton Avenue. Police said that Andre Quinn, 22, of Somerset and Bradley St. Clair, 22, of Dunellen, were arrested on Irvington Avenue a short time after the robbery, which was reported to …

Three men, including one from the township, were arrested Jan 12 on drug-related charges in separate incidents, according to authorities. All the arrests were as the result of tips to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force. The arrests netted drugs with a combined street value of more than $5,000, according to police.

Township police detectives are investigating two shootings that occurred within two weeks of each other late last month. No one was reported injured in either of the shootings, which left bullets in two homes.

A dropped cell phone helped lead police to a North Brunswick man authorities allege shot another man in the course of trying to rob a Franklin Boulevard business on Dec. 6. The suspect, Rajon L. McMillian, 24, was arrested at 2 p.m. Dec. 30 after he appeared at the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office in Somerville, according to a press release from the prosecutor.
