Police: VFW Donation Jar Holding $400 Stolen From Table

Police shieldPolice are investigating the June 7 theft of a donation jar that held about $400 earmarked for the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Police were called at about 1:30 p.m. to the K-Mart in Rutgers Plaza, Easton Avenue, where they were told that a man described as being white and wearing a blue shirt and tan shorts stole a plastic jar containing the donations.
