‘Stormers Out-Muscle Patriots Saturday Night

Lancaster, Penn. – Missed opportunities plagued the Somerset Patriots (17-17, 59-45) Saturday night in a 10-6 loss to the Lancaster Barnstormers (22-14, 60-45) at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

For the third straight game, Somerset opened the scoring in the top of the first inning. This time, it was a two-out RBI double from Christian Marrero to deep center field that gave the Patriots an early 1-0 lead. Two innings later, Justin Trapp scored from second base on a fielding error to increase the lead to 2-0.
