There was a steady stream of traffic in the St. Matthias School cafeteria Dec. 5 as shoppers perused the aisles of crafts on sale for the 29th annual St. Matthias School Christmas Craft Fair.
More than 59 vendors were on hand selling their wares, said Georgette Macrina, the St. Matthias School Home School Association’s co-president and chairwoman of the event.
“We have many return vendors and some new vendors,” she said.
In addition to the crafts, attendees could participate in a Tricky Tray of donated toys or a basket raffle of items donated by parish families and school parents, she said.
Local businesses also donated food, and homemade baked goods were for sale.
All of the money raised is earmarked for the school, Macrina said.
“We have over 40 events during the school year, and this is one of the bigger events of the year,” she said.
