Mr. Michael J. Oberberger, 56, died Oct. 12 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Michael was born and raised in Woodbridge and was a resident there for 50 years before moving to Somerset. He was a truck driver for more than 35 years, and was self-employed for many of those years.
Michael loved cooking and golfing, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
He was predeceased by his loving father, Joseph Oberberger, and is survived by his loving mother, Lois Oberberger; brother Dean Oberberger; former wife Sondra Oberberger, and niece and nephews Nicole, Chris, and Cory Oberberger.
Private cremation services entrusted to Gleason Funeral Home in Somerset.
