Local Cyclists Take Part In National ‘Ride Of Silence’

A handful of township residents gathered at the municipal complex May 17 to join bicyclists around the country and all over the world in honoring those who were injured or killed while cycling.

It was the 2017 Ride of Silence, an event that’s been held for 14 years around the country, and, in Franklin, for the last three years.

We went live twice to talk to the ride’s local organizer, and to watch the cyclists as they took off on their 8-mile ride.
