The Franklin Township High School girls’ junior varsity basketball team lost Jan. 30 to the Watching Hils Regional High School squad, 41-31.
Watching Hills took control of the game early, jumping to a 21-15 lead by halftime.
The lead increased slightly to 28-21 at the end of three.
“They played hard,” coach Alicia Zaro said. “It came down to if they had knocked down half the shots we took, there would have been a different outcome.”
Many of her players are young, and don’t have a lot of playing experience, Zaro said.
“They’re learning how to make better decisions on offense,” she said.
