The Fall drama presentation at Franklin High School is the children’s fantasy, “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.”
One of the seven “Chroniclas of Narnia” stories written by C.S. Lewis, the story is about four siblings – two brothers and two sisters – in World War II England who find passageway to a magical world – Narnia – through the back wall of a closet in a country home.
The four become embroiled in a struggle to depose a witch who has ruled Narnia for 100 years, and has kept the country in winter. They enlist the aid of the country’s true king, Aslan, and a variety of Narnians to help them.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 and 21, and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Theatre at Franklin High School, 500 Elizabeth Ave.
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at www.fhsnarnia.brownpapertickets.com or by e-mailing fhsvmd@gmail.com.
The show is directed by Timothy Walton.
