Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (24-20, 74-40) defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters (19-25, 55-59) 3-2 in 12 innings Monday evening at TD Bank Ballpark. A throwing error by pitcher Cory VanAllen plated shortstop Robert Andino who scored all the way from first base as the Patriots won for the 11th time in walk-off fashion this year.

York, PA – The Somerset Patriots (23-19, 73-39) defeated the York Revolution (22-19, 46-65) 17-6 Saturday evening at Santander Stadium. The 17 runs Somerset tallied tied a season-high.

A dream several years in the making is about to come true for a dozen members of the Franklin Township Baseball League’s 12 and Under team. The players will leave at the end of August for Cooperstown, NY – the home of baseball and its Hall of Fame – for the Cooperstown National Invitation Tournament.

Bridgewater, NJ – The Long Island Ducks (20-18, 66-42) rallied past the Somerset Patriots (21-17, 71-37) 8-7 Tuesday evening at TD Bank Ballpark. The Ducks tallied four straight two out RBI singles in the top of the ninth inning to grab the lead and preserve the win.  

Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (21-16, 71-36) defeated the Long Island Ducks (19-18, 65-42) 5-4 Monday evening at TD Bank Ballpark. Right fielder Ricky Claudio drew a walk-off walk in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Somerset to victory. With the victory the Patriots clinched a winning overall record for the third consecutive year.  

Camden, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (20-13, 70-33) defeated the Camden Riversharks (12-21, 40-63) 8-4 Thursday evening at Campbell’s Field.
