York, PA – The York Revolution (23-29, 47-65) salvaged the series finale against the Somerset Patriots (23-20, 73-40) by winning 3-2 in 14 innings on Sunday evening at Santander Stadium. Left fielder James Simmons tied the game with a RBI single in the final frame then the following batter, center fielder Jose Costanza, won the game with a RBI walk-off single.
In the bottom of the fifth inning Simmons slugged a RBI double to give York a 1-0 advantage.
The Patriots tallied the equalizer in the top of the sixth inning as catcher Adam Donachie drilled a RBI double making the score 1-1.
