The event is set for 2-5 p.m. at the township Community/Senior Center, 505 DeMott Lane.

Some sensory friendly activities include Meet The Lizard Guys, participate in a fitness challenge with Certified Fitness for Special Needs, Zumba class, face painting, crafts and more. Representatives from FSO-HSW, Behavior Therapy Associates, Mission Cognition, Children’s Specialized Hospital, Social Skills Training Project, FunSense Gym, Center for Special Needs, Game U, SEPAC, Franklin Township T.O.P. Soccer and many others will be on hand to speak with residents regarding services available for children and young adults that have special needs. Be present to win special giveaways.

“As a parent of a child who is on the autism spectrum, I know the challenges of finding quality programs for my child,” Marianne Regan, event coordinator, said in a release about the event. “The whole process is very time-consuming, and since his needs are constantly changing, I am always looking for new programs. This event will showcase many organizations from Somerset and the surrounding towns that offer quality programs for people of all ages.”
