U.S. Rep. Rush Holt, D-NJ/12, will hold “community Office Hours’ from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 20, 2014, at the Franklin Township Library, 485 DeMott Lane.
Members of Holt’s staff will be available to assist residents who are having problems with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services, or any other federal agency, according to a release about the event.
Staff also will be available to provide information on federal grants and contracts, acquiring flags flown over the U.S. Capitol, and more.
It’s not yet known if Holt will be able to attend the Franklin event, a Holt spokesman said. That will be determined by Congress’s voting schedule, he said.
Those who are unable to attend may seek assistance at any time by calling 1-87-RUSH-HOLT (1-877-874-4658).
The Franklin visit is one of 14 scheduled visits Holt will make in the district between Jan. 9 and Feb. 24, 2014, according to the release.
