Part of the Stop & Shop parking lot on Easton Avenue will become a construction area for a new Habitat for Humanity home.
The “House Built With Magic” event will run from about 8 a.m. Oct. 12 through 3 p.m. Oct. 13. It is sponsored by Stop & Shop, Magic 98.3 and WCTC to benefit the Habitat for Humanity Raritan Valley chapter.
Volunteers will be building panels for a new home that will be located in Franklin.
The first day will feature an opening ceremony from 9-10 a.m., followed by the first build shift from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
After an hour lunch break, the second build shift will take over until 5 p.m.
On Oct. 13, the first build shift will run from 9 a.m. to noon, after which the house panels will be transported to their final destination in the township.
WMGQ will do live broadcasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
