National Voter Registration Day is Sept. 26.
To register to vote, you must:
- Be a United States’ citizen
- Be 17 years old, although you may not vote until you turn 18
- Be a resident of Somerset County for at least 30 days before the election
- Not currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction.
