Unlocked Cars Targets of Township Burglars

Two township residents reported items stolen from their unlocked cars around Christmas.

On Dec. 24, a Kirby Lane resent reported that someone entered his unlocked Acura Legend sometime over the previous night and stole his wallet and his American Express credit card. The wallet was valued at $50.

On Dec 26, a Valley Wood Drive resident reported that someone entered their unlocked 2011 Toyota and stole an 11-inch Apple MacBook Air laptop computer valued at $1,000.
