Bingo Tournament – Every Thursday
Caram – Daily (East Indian Game Similar to Billiards)
Chair Exercises – Every Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.
Computer Instruction – Every Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.to 1 p.m. Advance registration required.
Healthy Bones Exercise Class – Monday, 9:30 a.m. (Doctor’s Note Needed for Class)
Line Dancing – Every Friday, 9:30 a.m.
Games (Scrabble, Dominos, Checkers, Yahtzee, Uno & Quizzle) – Daily
January 1 – Holiday –Center Closed
January 3 – “Home, Phone & Life Alert Safety” by the Franklin Township Police Department, 10:30 am
January 6 – Musical Entertainment with Josie Mescallado, Home Instead Senior Care, 10:30 am (Josie will entertain and sing favorites from the past few decades.)
January 7 – “Fire Precaution-Fire Prevention: The Elements of Fire Safety” by the Franklin Township Fire Prevention & Rescue Squad, 10:30 am
January 8, 15, 22 & 29 – Movement For Healthy Living: Set to Music Using Everyday Objects, 10:30 am
January 13 & 27 – ExerMusic: A Physical Upper Body Workout Set to the Rhythm of a Band Conductor, 10:30 am
January 14 & 28 – Tai Chi with Bobbie Joels, 10:30 am (Tai Chi as exercise is based on shifting body weight through a series of light, controlled movements that flow rhythmically together into one long, graceful gesture.   Some studies have reported that participants experienced a reduction in pain, fatigue and stiffness and a greater sense of well-being.  Regular tai chi can help reduce falls especially for those with balance problems.)
January 20 – Center Closed
January 21 – “The Breathing Club: Learn Pulmonary Breathing Techniques & Lung Health” by Somerset Health Care, 10:30 am
January 24 – “Smart Eating for 2014” by Saint Peter’s University Hospital, 10:30 am
