You could say that the upcoming Middlebush Reformed Church production of “Godspell” is a family affair.
The show is produced by Diane Carter; her son, CJ Carter, is making his directorial debut.
Siblings Ricky and Angelina Francese have roles in the show, while their father, Anthony Francese, is serving as its technical director.
Other cast members include Dylan Coker, Rafael Lozada, Eva Michaylin, Jillian Patla, Kristen Seggio, Sydney Wade, and Kristen Welsh.
Carl Phillips is the musical director, with choreography by Nick Hambrecht. The music and new lyrics are by Stephen Schwartz. “Godspell” was conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak and is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
“Godspell” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19, 20, 26 and 27 at the church, Amwell and South Middlebush roads.
Ticket prices are $12, $10 for students and senior citizens.
