07/02/2023 A 34-year-old Newark man was arrested by the New Jersey State Police for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction. The FTPD took custody of the defendant and transported him to Somerset County Jail after processing.

A 68-year-old North Brunswick resident died on June 26 as a result of an accident earlier that day at Route 27 and Bennington Parkway. Franklin Township Police received a 9-1-1 call about that accident at about 11:22 a.m., according to a press release from the department.
