Patriots Outlast Skeeters 9-6 In 11 Innings

Sugar Land, TX – The Somerset Patriots (29-24, 79-44) defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters (23-30, 59-64) 9-6 in 11 innings Thursday evening at Constellation Field.

In the top of the second inning the Patriots plated four two out runs to grab a 4-0 advantage. Second baseman Nate Spears slapped a RBI single and shortstop Robert Andino drilled a two RBI double. Andino later scored on a wild pitch hurled by pitcher Josh Geer.
