Spooky Brook Golf Course Wins Environmental Certification

The Spooky Brook Golf Course in Colonial Park, Somerset, has earned Environmental Stewardship certification from the state Department of Environmental Protection.

The course, which is owned and operated by the Somerset County Park Commission, was cited by DEP for hazardous material reduction; water use reduction; transportation energy use reduction, and enhancement projects, according to a release about the award.
