Police Log: Oct. 11 – Oct. 16, 2017

Oct. 11

  • Raphael Edwards of Somerset was cited for careless driving and driving with a suspended license after his car collided with one driven by Jeison Garcia-Tejada of Somerset. Edwards was turning left from Park Street to Baier Avenue when the two cars collided. Garcia-Tejada said Edwards’ car pulled out in front of his, giving him no time to avoid the accident.

Oct. 12

  • Hawanatu Kargbo of Somerset was cited for driving without insurance after her car backed into one driven by Vidhya Karthikeyan of Franklin Park. Kargbo said she did not see any other car as she backed out of her parking space in the municipal complex parking lot.

Oct. 13

  • Jitendra Barakale of Piscataway was cited for careless driving after the car he was driving collided with one driven by Pallavi Venkata of Princeton. Barakale was turning left from Route 27 onto South Middlebush Road when his car hot Venkata’s.
  • Ridhi Padalia of Bordentown was cited for careless driving after her car struck one on Route 27 driven by Melissa Aussicker of North Brunswick. Police said Padalia’s car entered Aussicker’s lane after Padalia made a left turn out of a driveway.
  • Katherine Schwartz of Princeton was cited for careless driving after she told police that she was speeding on Green Hill Manor Drive and collided with a car driven by Makenzie Fedele of Kendall Park. Fedele was cited for driving an unregistered car.
  • Ronald Finamore of South Bound Brook was cited for careless driving after his car collided with one driven on Weston Canal Road by Joseph Vita of Jersey City. Finamore was turning left onto the Route 287 on-ramp when the accident occurred.

Oct. 16

  • Cars driven by Michael Rush of Hillsborough and William Bouchonville of Monmouth Junction collided on Amwell Road. Boucnonville was attempting to turn left into Resta’s gas station when his car was struck by Rush’s, which police said was driving on the shoulder.
