Alyssa Kowalsky of Somerset, a Hospitality Resort and Tourism Management Pre-Major major was one of more than 2,400 students at Coastal Carolina University who were named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2018 semester.

Amanda Lake of Somerset was honored for academic achievement by being named to the Dean’s List at Delaware Valley University for the Fall 2018 semester.

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Colleen Kurtz, of Somerset, has been named to the 2018-19 Assumption College Women’s Swimming and Diving team. Kurtz, Class of 2020, is competing during the Greyhounds’ winter season.

Jennifer Hoffman, Brittany Georges and Navya Jagarlamudi, all of Somerset. have been named to the University of Delaware Dean’s List for the Fall 2018 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Assumption College has announced that Colleen Kurtz, of Somerset, Class of 2020, is one 493 students named to the College’s Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters.

Me’Saj Closs  and Tiana Webster, both of Somerset, were two of 1,513 students named to the Dean’s List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2018 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean’s List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade “B” earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade “A” earns 4 quality points per credit.

Garrett Callaghan, a Franklin Park resident majoring in Business Administration at Ithaca College, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester.

Somerset residents Carolina Chaves, a sophomore strategic communication major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences; Michael P. Diana, a junior psychology major in the University’s College of Arts and Sciences, and Jeremy P. Bathan, a senior accounting major in the University’s Kania School of Management, were among nearly 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton’s Dean’s List for the 2018 fall semester. The Dean’s List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean’s List.

Skyllar Capuno of Somerset and Julia Lombardo of Franklin Park were named to the Fall 2018 Dean’s List at Muhlenberg College. To earn this academic achievement, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the term.

Matthew Goodman, of Somerset, has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2018 session. Students who earn dean’s list honors must be considered by the registrar to be carrying a full time course load of graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

Dean’s List status, which is awarded to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses, has been granted to Michael Maguire of Franklin Park, NJ in the Fall 2018 semester.

Shelby A. Lubowicki of Somerset has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the fall 2018 semester. Lubowicki is majoring in Health Science. To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Steph Spada of Somerset, was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Rhode Island.

Patrick Miller, Darlenny Checo, Jordan Bennerman and Emanuel Osano, all of Somerset, graduated on May 15, 2018 from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Vitas Hrynkiewicz of Somerset, was one of nearly 600 students awarded undergraduate and advanced degrees and certificates at Youngstown State University’s Fall Commencement recently. Hrynkiewicz earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance. Hrynkiewicz was also named to Dean’s List and the President’s List.

Wilkes University awarded 384 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to students who completed their degree requirements at the conclusion of the fall 2018 semester. Tina Doshi of Somerset, NJ (08873) received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
