Venus Jewelers Offers Free Watch Batteries To Veterans

Venus JewelersVenus Jewelers, Rutgers Plaza on Easton Avenue, is offering free watch batteries to all veterans on Veterans’ Day, Nov. 11.

Veterans can receive their first battery free and all additional at 20 percent off, according to a release about the event.

The store is also hosting a giveaway contest for tickets to a show at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, and a dinner at one of New Brunswick’s restaurants, according to the release.

To enter “Venus Honors Veterans: A Giveaway,” simply write a caption to the photo on Venus Jewelers’ Facebook page. Include when you served or if you are currently serving.

Winners will be announced on Facebook on Veterans’ Day. For full details visit venusjewelers.com/blog/.

“We’ve put together a dinner and show package with nothing but the best to honor a ‘few good men ( or women)’,” Peter Stavrianidis, owner of Venus Jewelers, said in the release. “It’s a way for us to honor our men and women in uniform.”
