Township Named 26th Best Place To Live In Country By Magazine
Franklin Township has been named the 26th best place to live by Money Magazine.
The monthly lauded the township for its “wide range of ethnicities, income, and home prices,” adding that the township i “ideal for those who love the outdoors; a third of the town is farmland or recreation preservation and features over 60 miles of walking trails.”
The magazine also noted the township’s job market took a hit with the announced move of MetLife out of state, and that Route 287 can create “heavy congestion for commuters.”
To arrive at its ratings, the magazine compiled data from 781 cities with populations between 50,000 and 300,000. The magazine then passes those towns through a series of filters before arriving at the top 10.
