Somerset Man Wanted In Virginia Nabbed By Sheriff’s Officers

A Somerset man wanted in Virginia on charges that he and his girlfriend kidnapped and terrorized a man was arrested Oct. 3 by Somerset County Sheriff’s Officers.
Pramod Subramanian, 29, was arrested on Emerson Road without incident, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.
According to a report published in the Fairfax Times, a Herndon, Va. man reported on Aug. 8 that he had been assaulted, robbed and held against his will by his ex-girlfriend – Ruchi Kapani, 31, of Herndon – and her current boyfriend, identified as Subramanian.
Kapani and Subramanian were charged with malicious wounding, strangulation, robbery, abduction, malicious wounding by mob, petit larceny and unlawful entry of a vehicle, according to the release.
Police said the victim suffered several non-life-threatening injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office was tipped off to Subramanian’s whereabouts by Virginia authorities, according to the release. He was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant.
