Penny Moreno, 47, Created Candles And Doll Houses

Penny Moreno, 47, died Wednesday, September 21 at McCarrick Care Center in Somerset.

Ms. Moreno was born September 25, 1968 in Elizabeth, the daughter of Michael and Bethel (Woodruff) Yankowski. She lived in Seaside Heights for many years before settling in Somerset.

Penny enjoyed to make many things; she made candles and doll houses just to name a few. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Most of all, Penny loved her children.

Ms. Moreno was predeceased by her brothers, Henry, Richard and James Rucki; and her sister, Mary Lou Pugliese.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Bethel Yankowski; her daughters, Victoria Moreno of Clifton and Tiffany Moreno of Somerset; her son, Jimmy Moreno of Linden; her brother, William Rucki and his wife Loreen of Brick; her sister, Debbie and her husband Lee Sciacchitano of Somerset, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset on Saturday, September, 24 from 9-10 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery in North Brunswick.
