No one was injured March 28 when a car backed into a house on Stone Manor Drive.

Police responding to the 6:24 p.m. incident were told by the car’s driver, Kimberlie Bullock, 35, of Orange, that she was backing out of the driveway of a home when her foot got stuck on the gas pedal, propelling her car across the street, onto the lawn and into the home on the other side of the road.

The home was occupied at the time of the crash, police said, but neither the residents nor Bullock were injured.

Bullock’s 1999 Nissan maxima sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away. Bullock was cited for careless driving.

Township construction officials determined that the accident did not affect the integrity of the building, and the residents were allowed to return home.
