McCarrick Care Center’s Annual Community Day Draws Large Crowd

There was live music, pony rides, games and lots of food Sept. 14 at the annual Community Day held by the McCarrick Care Center on Dellwood Lane.

The free event was attend by McCarrick patients, their families and members of the Franklin Community.

The petting zoo, featuring a variety of animals, was especially popular with the kids.

Saint Peter’s University Hospital’s Community Mobile Health Services was there to provide free blood pressure screenings and counseling.

McCarrick administrator Jim Zauner said he expected several hundred people to show up during the day.
