Life Story: Sabino Infante, 78; New York Yankees, Giants Fan

Sabino Infanti passed away May 12 at Somerset Woods Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. He was 78 years old.

Mr. Infanti was born in Newark and had lived in Somerset for the last 16 years.

He worked for many years at the general Motors facility in Linden before retiring about 16 years ago.

He was a New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.

He was pre-deceased by his first wife Arlene, a daughter Diane, brothers Gabriel and Michael, and sisters Josephine and Grace.

Mr. Infanti is survived by his wife of 16 years, Elaine Infanti; a son, Raymond and his wife Debra, stepsons Anthony Noto and his wife Pauline and Robert Noto and fiance Christina Rinaldo, daughter Carmella Conte and grandchildren Nicholas, Lilliana and Nichole.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. May 17 at St. Matthias Church 170 JFK Boulevard.
