Life Story: Nicole Cyrille; Haitian Native, Long-Time Township Resident

Nicole Cyrille passed away January 22, 2018.

Daughter of the late Nerva Midy and Mertilia Beauliere.. Mrs. Cyrille was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, July 28, 1941. She lived in Brooklyn, NY before settling in Somerset 40 years ago.

Nicole was a graduate of the fashion Institute of Technology. She worked for many years as a home-based fashioned designer.

She was a congregant of the United Methodist Church of New Brunswick. Over the years, Nicole was involved in many community activities, including the Girl Scouts of America, The Haiti Partners, Reading Across America and Susan G Komen. She enjoyed traveling, operas, the theater, aerobics and so much more. Nicole was a loving friend and admired by everyone.

Mrs. Cyrille is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Maurice; her daughters, Narjana and Zalenda and 10 siblings.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Jan. 27 at the United Methodist Church, 323 George St., New Brunswick.
