Life Story: Joseph D’Imperio, 70; Longtime Township Resident

Joseph “Joe” D’Imperio Jr., 70, passed away surrounded by his family on June 19 at St. Peter University Medical Center in New Brunswick.

Mr. D’Imperio was born October 02, 1946 in Trenton to the late Joseph and Hilda (Disbrow) D’Imperio Sr. Joe lived in Somerset, New Jersey for many years and was previously from Jamesburg.

Joe was a member of the Elks Club in Jamesburg. He loved to watch baseball, especially the Yankees and to collect any type of trading cards. Joe was a loving husband, a caring father and an adoring grandfather; he will be sincerely missed.

Mr. D’Imperio is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane (Mento) D’Imperio of Somerset; his daughter, Lisa and her husband Gregory Budesheim of Somerset; his sons Joe D’Imperio III and his wife Lauren of Somerset and Danny D’Imperio and his wife Domenica of Somerset; and his four grandchildren, Jack, Emma, Sara and Alex.

Family and friends may visit at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St. from 4-8 p.m. June 23.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. June 24 at Gleason Funeral Home. Final resting will be private.
