Life Story: Gloria Scott, 81; Son Is Township Resident

Gloria Scott, 81, passed away on August 21 at her home in Cape May Court House.

Ms. Scott was born October 04, 1936 in Somerville to the late John and Elizabeth (Hogg) Lamond. She was a resident of Cape May Court House and was previously from South Bound Brook.

Gloria worked for RCA, John Wiley and Sons and most recently Walmart in Rio Grande. She was a proud long-standing member of the Eastern Star. Gloria loved cooking on holidays, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving.

She is survived by her son, Arthur Scott and his wife Kathy of Somerset; her daughter, Linda Scott of Cape May; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will have a small funeral service on Saturday. Burial will follow at Lake Nelson Cemetery in Piscataway.
