Life Story: Frank Gagliardi, 75; Long-Time Resident

Frank A. Gagliardi Jr., 75, died Tuesday, September 18th, at Regency Heritage Center in Somerset, NJ.

Mr. Gagliardi was born on July 13, 1943 in New Brunswick  to the late Frank and Florence Gagliardi. He relocated and settled in Franklin Township when he was 10 years old and remained a resident of Franklin Township until his passing.

Frank worked for Johns Manville in Bridgewater, ran his own business and was a truck driver until his retirement.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Somerset and was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Ladislaus Church in New Brunswick. Frank loved cars, motorcycle and was a coin collector.

Mr. Gagliardi was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly and his sister, Roseanne Sandler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol (MacNeer) Gagliardi; his daughters, Traci Nardone and her husband Mike and Gina Scolardi and her wife Dee; his grandson, Frank Gagliardi III; his brother, Robert and his wife Janice; his dog, Oreo and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St. on Friday, September 21st from 4-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22nd, at 10:30 A.M. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Final disposition will be private at the family’s request.
