John Dziamara, 70; Daughter, Son-In-Law Live In Township

John DziamaraJohn Dziamara, 70, of Annandale, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday in Bethlehem, Pa.

John was born in Rudesheim, Germany and lived in Canada, Rockville, Md. and Charlotte, NC. prior to moving to Annandale in 1996. He retired from Hitachi Data Systems in New York City, but continued working as a Consultant for Tech Service Professionals.

He served our country faithfully for six years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

John was a model plane enthusiast and frequently volunteered his time to the Round Valley Youth Center.

He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Frieda Dziamara and his sister Olga Dziamara.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue Dziamara of Annandale, and their children, Melissa Pilla and her husband Nick of Ashbury, Virginia, Brian Dziamara and his wife Monica of Harvey, Louisiana, Stephanie Neville and her husband Tim of Somerset, Leslie Dziamara of Houston, and four loving grandchildren, Hailey, Jack, TJ and Tyler. He is also survived by a sister, Rosemary Waites and her husband Don of Canada.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 19th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. A funeral service will begin on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. The family will welcome visitors at 10:30 a.m. All other services will be held privately.
