Fifth Anniversary In Heaven

Dear Olivia (“Livi”),

Five years have gone by, yet it still seems as if it were yesterday. There will never be a day that you do not come to mind. We may have lost a daughter/sister, but Heaven certainly gained an angel. If only we could see your adorable face and your magnificent smile. If only we could hear your contagious laugh, your silly giggle, or even your whining. If only we could say, “I love you”. If only we could, then our lives might be whole again. Without you here, there is a constant piece missing.

Have you caught all the balloons that Mya has sent over the years? You must be proud of how much your little sister still adores you. If Mya had one wish, it would be to bring you back to all of us. As we continue to pray for you, our love grows stronger each day that you are gone. We may have had plans for you on Earth, but God had a different plan. We are grateful for the five years we had together.

Thank you, Olivia, for being that shining star in our lives. The memories of you, our precious Livi, will never fade. For as each day goes by, we miss you more.

Twinkle, twinkle, our little star!

Love,

Mommy, Daddy and Mya
