FTBL All-Stars Show Their Stuff In Annual Festivities

The Franklin Township Baseball League’s All-Stars take the field.


The Franklin Township Baseball League held its annual All-Star Game on May 27.

Besides the game, the day featured a home run derby for each of the league’s divisions. plus skills competitions in running and fielding and throwing.

“It’s our biggest day,” said Coach Trevor Moncrease, the day’s coordinator. “Literally almost the whole league comes out. You’re only picking 24 kids per division, but friends and family come out.”

Three or four players were picked from each team to play on either the Gold or the Blue team for each division.
