Four township women are part of a dance team that earlier this month won its third national title in the National Dance Team Championships.

The girls – Clarissa Miller, Ashlee Sorenson, Mindy Wanagosit and Rachel Wanagosit – are part of the Jersey Girls All Star Dance Team, headquartered at the Central Jersey Dance and Gymnastics Center in Middlesex.

The 26-member team won the title in the competition’s Junior Jazz Division, and were also first runners-up in the Youth Jazz, Senior Prom and Senior Jazz divisions. The competition was held Feb. 3 at Walt Disney World in Florida.

The 14-member Junior Dance Team was named the 2017 National Dance Team Junior Jazz Champion for its performance of “Come Sail Away” at the Field House in the ESPN Complex.

The girls are coached by Kristianne Jankowicz, Joann Abbate and Ashley Doyle.
